Before founding Holidermie, Mélanie Huynh used to frequent the editorial offices of the most prestigious magazines... and Fashion weeks.
A habit she still cherishes just as much!
Another ritual she continues: visiting her favorite places during her travels around the capital for the best fashion shows. Here they are, to discover hour by hour.
📍 Before the first fashion show
A to-go coffee. Café Nuances roasts its coffee on-site, offering unique blends created by the house. The place is amazing, enhanced by the Uchronia collective of architects.
Heading to the left bank, check out Benchy, a new Japanese mini-shop with a raw and chic style where you can also enjoy a snack, especially their famous fruit sando.
- Café Nuances: 25 Rue Danielle Casanova, 75001 Paris
- Benchy: 50 rue du Cherche-Midi, 75006 Paris
📍 Between two fashion shows
For a quick glow-up. In thirty minutes, the Holidermie Loft offers a draining Gua Sha facial treatment that plumps up the face and adds a glow to the complexion. And then... what a pleasure to close your eyes for a few minutes in this busy schedule!
- The Holidermie Loft: 44 Rue Vieille du Temple, 75003 Paris
📍For lunch
Debrief the fashion shows. Even during the rush period, lunch should not be skipped! Mélanie's choice often falls on hotel restaurants, which are more tranquil and cozy. Her favorites? The Grand Hôtel du Palais Royal, with its typical Parisian courtyard, ideal for good weather, and the Hôtel Grand Powers, a powder-coated oasis that's so soothing. What do they have in common? Both offer a menu signed by Café 52, fresh and healthy, just what you need to regain energy.
- Grand Hôtel du Palais Royal: 4 Rue de Valois, 75001 Paris
- Hôtel Grand Powers: 52 Rue François 1er, 75008 Paris
📍For a workout
Relieve stress. Sometimes, the day becomes so smooth that you find yourself with two vacant hours in your schedule. Instead of losing the pace, head to a sports class. Boxing at Punch or a dynamic yoga practice at Poses, depending on your needs: to let off steam or escape.
- Punch Boxing: 3 Rue de Richelieu, 75001 Paris
- Poses Yoga: 21 Rue des Filles du Calvaire, 75003 Paris
📍For the after-show
After the effort, comfort. The Grand Hôtel du Palais Royal (again!) offers a special beauty cocktail menu by Holidermie throughout the fashion week. These unique blends have been crafted to combine pleasure with care: enjoy a beautiful cocktail while taking care of your skin.
The three cocktails:
- Le Gin To’ Holidream: Gin Citadelle, Fresh Blueberries, Rose Syrup, with Holidermie Adaptogenic Beauty Powder.
- L’antioxydant plaisir: Hendrick's Gin, White Martini, Lemon, Ginger Beer, with Holidermie Beauty Drops Holiglow.
- Le Thé Elixir de Peau Holidermie, served as Iced tea or hot drink.
- Grand Hôtel du Palais Royal: 4 Rue de Valois, 75001 Paris
📍For dinner
Enjoy! When out with friends, the choice falls on a place that is both terribly attractive and absolutely delicious. Since Italian and Lebanese cuisines are among Mélanie's favorites, you'll often find her at Gigi, the trendy spot perched at the top of the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées. Or at Tawlet, the brand-new restaurant that's getting a lot of attention for its transporting cuisine.
- Gigi Paris: 15 Av. Montaigne, 75008 Paris
- Tawlet: 2 Rue de la Fontaine au Roi, 75011 Paris
